Vicki Lynn Wickett (Norman), 66, passed away July 20, 2018 at her home in Loveland, CO in the presence of her loving family.
Vicki was born on August 1, 1951 in La Crosse, Wisconsin to James and Joyce Norman. She was one of nine siblings. After graduating from Central High School (La Crosse, WI), she traveled across the country until she found her home in Colorado in 1977. Vicki worked as an Operating Room Technician before establishing her own pet grooming business, Bowser’s Bath & Boutique and a wedding gown consignment store, Victoria’s Bridals. She obtained her Associated Degree in Business Administrations and Marketing from Front Range Community College. She was an outgoing person and enjoyed working in sales for Concepts Furniture and Kohl’s in Longmont.
Above all, Vicki was a devoted mother and grandmother. She adored and loved spending time with her four grandchildren. Vicki was the life of the party and had many close friends that she cherished. She enjoyed reading books, playing cards, collecting antiques, completing jigsaw puzzles, Friday garage sales, camping, boating, and loving pugs especially her beloved pug, Wilbur. Vicki was a very genuine person with a great sense of humor. She has touched the lives of so many people. Even though she is gone, her memory will live on in all of our hearts forever.
Vicki is survived by her mother, Joyce Norman of La Crosse, WI; her son, Matthew (Nicole) Wickett of Frederick, CO; her daughter, Amy Wickett of Loveland, CO; two brothers, Richard (Carlotta) Norman of Salem, WI and James (Wanda) Norman of Roscoe, IL; four sisters; Brenda (James) Petersen of La Crescent, MN, Barbara Wermager of Madison, WI, Michelle Norman of La Crosse, WI, and Patty (Jeff) Henry of Milton, WI; four grandchildren: Brecken, Noah, Mayelle, and Brenley; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, James Norman; and two brothers, Bill and Steven Norman.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, July 27, 2018 at 1:30pm at Viegut Funeral Home, 1616 N. Lincoln Ave. in Loveland with viewing 1 hour prior to services. She will be laid to rest in the Loveland Burial Park at 1702 N. Cleveland Ave. in Loveland immediately following services. A reception will be held at the Viegut Reception Center after the interment.
Vicki previously requested in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Colorado Pug Rescue and The Lung Cancer Research Foundation (specifically for “small cell lung cancer”).
