Thomas Ray Davis, 62, of Loveland passed away November 16, 2019, surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 15, 1957, in St. John, Kansas to Leroy and Wilma Davis. At age 2 he was baptized in the Nazarene Church in Garden City, Kansas. He graduated from Loveland High School in 1975.
Tom worked at his father’s wrecker service from 1968 (age 13) to 1994 (age 37). He also was an over-the-road truck driver. For 25 years he worked for the Fancher family and Loveland Ready Mix, managing Johnstown Ready Mix since it opened.
He was a beloved father, son, brother, and grandfather.
Tom enjoyed spending time in the mountains “wheelin’”, and at the dragstrip with his friends and family. Most of all he enjoyed working in the shop with his son, grandson, and close friends.
He is survived by his son Jake (Callie) Davis, grandson Ryker Davis, mother Wilma Davis, sister Kay (Andy) Persichitte, brother JR (Shirley) Davis, sister Kim (Ben) Beckett, many nieces and nephews, and partner in life Penny Sterud.
He was preceded in death by his father Leroy I. Davis in 1995.
Celebration of Life services will be held Saturday, November 23rd at 11:00AM at the Foundations Church in Loveland, Colorado. Interment following the service at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Loveland, Colorado.
