Steve Green was born in Denver, Colorado to Thomas F. Green Jr. & Carol R. Green on September 20, 1961, and passed away February 2, 2018 at the age of 56.
He attended Colorado State University and graduated with a BS degree in Biology, Biochemistry Concentration & Chemistry minor. He worked as a Senior Level Pharmaceutical Engineer for Maetrics LLC.
Okay, enough of the boring stuff. He did enjoy his work even though none of us knew exactly what he did, but we knew Steve for the fun guy he was. He loved to laugh and had a goofy side to him that was wonderful to be around. Growing up he had 3 siblings, Sharon, Scott & Suzanne. All attended Thomas Jefferson High School in Denver, CO. When he was a kid, he loved to build things and then take them apart. Fishing was a big part of his life and he would fish every chance he had. He was also a huge Colorado Avalanche and Denver Broncos fan.
Steve also loved playing golf, cars and traveling, but what he loved most was his wife Julie and his stepsons Andrew and Tyler. Steve and Julie were married on a beautiful beach in the Florida Keys in February of 2007. He loved his family and spending time with them, and enjoyed planning new adventures with them either to the mountains or beach, or anywhere in between. He will be greatly missed by his mother, siblings, wife, sons and extended family.
A celebration of his life will be held April 14, 2018 at 1:30 at King of Glory Lutheran Church in Loveland. Requested attire are golf shirts, bright colors, Hawaiian shirts, and/or purple (Steve’s favorite color) in honor of Steve. In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial contribution in Steve's name to St. Jude's Hospital or The Ronald McDonald House.
