Lois Arleen Wacker, 90, of Loveland, Colorado, passed away on May 14, 2020 with her family by her side. She was born on August 8, 1929 in Loveland, Colorado to Pete and Esther Harris.
Most of her married life was spent assisting her husband, John, on their dairy farm north of Loveland.
Lois was an active member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She especially enjoyed working with children and was director of the Junior Choir and Superintendent of Vacation Bible School for many years. She was also a leader in 4-H for 23 years.
After retirement, Lois and John loved taking winter trips to spend time with family or meet with friends to listen to music or play a good game of cards. Arizona was a favorite destination. Being around people gave Lois joy and she never hesitated to share a kind word with anyone.
Preceding her in death was her husband of 63 years, John.
She is survived by three children, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Connie Marthinsen of Apex, NC (husband Frank - deceased; daughter Tania). Dave Wacker of Loveland, CO (wife Jan; son Scott; Scott’s wife Megan and their children Jovie and Beau; daughter Courtney). Kellee Bellile of Clive, IA (husband Kevin; daughter Karissa; son Kennoniah). Sisters Bernice Oatney, Evelyn Vaughn, and Carol Speicher. Other family members through marriage Ben and Lila Wacker, Rosie Wacker and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mom, your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure, you are loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure!
