On December 22, 2018 Larry Joe Halsey of Loveland, CO passed away surrounded by his friends and family. He was born on November 10, 1948 to William and Dorothy Halsey.
Larry was drafted in May of 1968 and served in Vietnam during the 68-69 Tet Offensive. He came back to Loveland where he met and married Gail in December of 1971. They had four children and started H&M excavating in 1980, which ran until he retired in 2015. He enjoyed drag racing where he was very involved at the track in Douglas, Wyoming and Julesburg, Colorado. He liked big game hunting, working on his motors, running machines for the company, or just spending time with his grandkids, and being with friends and family. He had the biggest heart and would welcome anyone into his home and made them feel like family. He made many good friends through his company and racing.
