Jesse Keith Pratt was born March 5, 1982 in Princeton, Illinois. About 30 years ago he moved to Colorado with his parents Keith Pratt and Peggy Garrington, his older brother Matt Garrington, and his younger brother Seth Pratt. His youngest sibling, his sister Sunshine Benson, was born in 1996. He met his first love, Leah Wilcox, when he was 12 and they had their first son, Chance Pratt, in 2000. He later married Carla Beckham and together they has their son Sullivan Pratt in 2011 and he was step father to her daughter Reagan Peterson. He had his third son, Jax, in 2014. When he passed he was engaged to Kelly Stofferan and he was stepfather to her 3 children: Zach Young, and Payton and Brady Caven.
Jesse was a kind, loving and wise soul. He was a simple man, full of simple desires and his heart was rich and full of the most precious treasures. He was very well loved and he touched the lives of everyone he encountered. Jesse was a comical character and always knew how to make us laugh. He was always tending to the needs of others, especially animals and children and always kept them in a special place in his heart. He loved music and spent a lot of time expressing himself through his own exemplary musical talents. He loved spending time in the mountains connecting with nature and God. Surrounded by loved ones livin it up! He loved a good meal, and boy could he cook! He worked at Chili's as a chef for several years, but when he prepared meals for those he loved he always gave it his own signature flavor and you couldn't help but be excited and wait with anticipation for the food to hit the table. He was a good man to break bread with. He also was an outstanding mechanic. He had a self-owned business JPS Mobile Auto Repair. Though he did a whole lot more than just cars. Jesse was always fixing everything and he always seemed to have an answer. He was good with his hands, which showed even through his woodworking, he made incredible pieces that he gave to his loved ones to enjoy and cherish forever.
There was never a dull moment with Jesse. He brought some color and light into all our lives and he truly will be missed deeply. He passed away June 29, 2018. He is so very loved and his legacy will live on forever. Created by God, built for a purpose. Rest in peace Jesse.
