After spending 66 years together, Henry and CC Dozier passed quietly into their eternal homes, separated by a span of only three days. CC passed on June 9, followed by Henry on June 12, 2018. Both were accompanied by family members at the time of their respective deaths.
The couple were both born in Denver and lived all their lives in Colorado except for fifteen years in Tucson, Arizona. They moved to Loveland in 1993.
They are survived by five sons: David Richard Dozier, Paul Stephan Dozier, Daniel Lee Dozier, Steven Michael Dozier, and Matthew James Dozier; nineteen grandchildren, and twenty-six great-grandchildren.
Henry became a born-again Christian in 1963, a student of the Bible, and an avid reader of theology. He accumulated a substantial theology library. He began faithfully teaching the truth of God’s Word to the members of his family. Through his prayerful and persistent witness over the course of several years, his wife and sons also became born-again Christians.
Henry was a Sunday school teacher and served in leadership roles in various churches. In Tucson and Loveland, Henry regularly visited nursing homes where he taught Bible lessons and sang gospel hymns with the residents.
An employee of IBM for many years, Henry distinguished himself as a loyal and trusted worker. He was appreciated by managers and co-workers for his diligent and capable service and his integrity. He also shared his faith with co-workers and friends.
CC was a skilled seamstress, an accomplished cook, and a gracious hostess. Her efforts brought much pleasure to many. CC faithfully cared for Henry following his stroke in 2006.
Both Henry and CC are now in the presence of their precious Savior.
Memorial services for Henry and CC will be held at Faith Church in Loveland, CO on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 3:00pm. Go to www.viegutfuneralhome.com for online condolences.
