Harold Norman Bower of Loveland, Colorado died October 15, 2019 at the Mirasol Green Houses of Loveland. He was born September 22, 1928 in Riverton, Nebraska to Clarence and Rhea Bower.
On October 25, 1947 he married Shirlie Gable in Great Bend, Kansas. Harold and Shirlie lived in the Denver area until moving to Loveland in 1961. Harold worked for Northern Colorado Water District for 29 years. He loved to fix things and was always keeping busy. Harold proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force.
Harold is survived by his wife of nearly 72 years Shirlie Bower of Loveland; daughter Bonnie Bower of Loveland; sister Loretta Montano of Pratt, Kansas; 3 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
Graveside services with Military Honors will be held at Loveland Burial Park on Tuesday, October 22, 2019, 1:00pm. Viewing will be held Monday, the 21st from 4:00pm – 7:00pm at Viegut Funeral Home.
