Dolores M. Romero, 57, of Greeley, Colorado passed away on September 20th, 2019. She was born January 29th, 1962 in Torrance, California to Ramona Tabera.
Dolores grew up in California and eventually made her way to Colorado where she stayed for most of her life. She had a love for the Oakland Raiders, black licorice, almond rocas, as well as her morning coffee and of course, her grandkids. She held many different jobs throughout her life but will be best known for being a homemaker, loving wife and mother. She was an extremely strong and independent woman. Dolores was tough as nails as she went through the rollercoaster of life; yet she still managed to put everyone's needs before her own. Even through the rough times she always managed to see the brighter side of things. She always had Jesus in her heart and a positive outlook on life.
She is survived by mother Ramona Tabera; sisters; Lisa Soto, Tina Hernandez, brother Joseph Tabera; daughters; Valerie Dominguez, Marlene Escajeda: and son Andy Romero. Along with seven grandchildren (Jayla, Aleah, Isaiah, Noah, Breanna, Ashley and Rudy) and one great grandchild (EJ). As well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A life celebration and visitation will be held Sunday September 29, 2019 from 2pm to 5pm at Mosaic Church (3451 23rd Avenue Evans Colorado) with a prayer service held by pastor Angel Flores. Immediately following services there will be a potluck style reception at the church.
