Athea Jayne was born on 10-29-1969 to Douglas Eugene and Nancy Jayne Karraker in Denver, Colorado. She graduated from Centennial High School in Fort Collins, Colorado in 1989. She married Steve Stuntz and gave birth to daughter Shandice Marie and son Luke James. They were later divorced and she married Cesar Arias Chavez and went on to raise several fur babies.
Athea "worked" in the hair industry for over 30 years. It was her passion, she often said that she never actually worked a day in her life. Athea was a free spirit, who lived life on the edge and to the fullest. She never passed up a chance to head into the mountains, except when there was a Bronco game on. Athea was the loudest, most diehard Broncos fan we've ever known. She was always on the go - rarely sat still except to crochet blankets for her grandchildren.
Athea was preceded in death by her brother Brock, sister Kindra, nephew Jason and grandparents.
She is survived by both parents; both children; a niece; and four grandchildren Todd James Allred, Jadyn Lilly Mraz, Damien Cassius Stuntz, and Xander Caspian Stuntz; as well as extended family in the United States and Mexico.
She will be missed dearly by all those who knew her
Cremation has been completed. A Reception will be held at The Mishawaka Amphitheater on March 21, 2019 at 12:00pm with Celebration of Life Services at 2:00pm.
