Alfred D. “Skip” Woll completed his journey of life on June 21, 2020, after a long and hard-fought health battle. He never gave up hope and overcame the odds to give his family as much time with him as he possibly could.
Alfred D. Woll’s journey began in Illinois on July 23, 1955. He was the third child of Caroline Woll and Alfred G. Woll, completing the family and providing much joy and love to his parents. Skip’s two sisters, Jackie Anthony and Debbie Keister, loved and cherished their little brother. When Skip was six months old, the entire family moved to Loveland, Colorado, where they operated a motel for many years.
Alfred D. Woll was a butcher by trade and worked in the industry for more than 20 years. He was an avid outdoorsmen and lived much of his life in the mountains. Hunting, fishing, cooking, and spending time with family were his favorite pastimes. He raised two children, Alicia Woll and Keith Woll, who were the light of his life. He loved his children deeply and raised them to be strong, independent individuals with personalities as big as his own.
Skip is survived by his mother Caroline; his sisters Jackie and Debbie; his children Alicia and Keith; and his three grandchildren Layla, A.J., and Tobias. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and friends. Skip’s sarcasm, wit, laughter, and loving presence will be missed by all.
