Alexander "Al" Anton Bless was born on February 23, 1952 in Attersee, Austria to Alexandra and Anton Bless. In 1956 he immigrated with his family to America where they created a home in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Al, served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He loved construction and was able to live doing what he loved as he had his own contracting business. He took pride in his work and always put his heart in everything he did.
Al was always full of life and laughter. He would do whatever he could do to help anyone who may need him. He was a loving father and a devoted husband. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed many destination golf trips with his brother, Tony, his cousin Pete, and his dear friend Garvin. Al also frequented the PAM Vets breakfast every Saturday morning that he was able to attend at the Golden Corral in Loveland, Colorado. He and his pup, Skooter were well known all around the Loveland, Fort Collins area.
Al passed away May 25, 2018 at Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, Colorado with his family and friends near him.
Al was predeceased by his mother, father, and sister, Roswita and is survived by his wife of 18 years, Marty, brother Tony and his wife Pamela, daughter Kelly, son Craig, his bonus children Brodie and Amanda, his grandchildren, Avery, Drew, Chandler, and Addison, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who loved him like family.
