On Sunday, May 12, 2019, Gary Campbell, loving husband and father of five, grandfather of ten, and great grandfather of one, went to be with his Lord on his 72nd birthday.
Gary was born on May 12, 1947 in Pendleton, Oregon to Elvin and Jewell (Fisher) Campbell. He received his Physiology degree from University of Northern Colorado in 1969. Within one month he married his wife Jan Jack Campbell and moved to Denver to begin his career as a medical technician. He sold business suits during the evenings and motorcycles on the weekend. Through his part time jobs he discovered his gift and love for selling, which led him into medical sales. He started with pharmaceuticals and ended his career with artificial heart valves and stents.
Gary had many loves; first and foremost, his love for the Lord, his family and his many dear friends. He also had a passion for riding motorcycles and fishing in our State’s beautiful Rocky Mountains, which is a legacy he passed onto his children. Together Gary and Jan raised two sons and three daughters.
He is survived by his wife Jan, their eldest son Scott (Carrie), daughter Jami, son Ryan, daughter Lauren, and youngest daughter Caitlin (Steven) Guzman. Grandchildren Alex, David, Bryce, Berkley, Autumn, Sydney, Jacob, Emmaleigh, Gloryia, Luis and one great grandson Chance.
Gary had an amazing ability to start a conversation and find a connection with everyone he came across, he touched so many lives and will be greatly missed by many.
Services will be held on Wednesday May 22nd at 2:00
2101 Gay St, Longmont, CO 80501
